VOLARE IS A BAR. BETWEEN DREAM AND REALITY: WHEN THE IDEA COMES BEFORE THE CONCEPT

A masterclass that explains how a clear idea of sociability and relationships can become the foundation for building a contemporary, recognizable, and sustainable venue. Starting from the bar as a space for people, the masterclass traces the birth of the Volare project in Bologna: the choice of a positive collective imagery inspired by the 1960s, the centrality of consistency between space, service, and offerings, and the fundamental role of customers and staff in creating the experience. It then analyzes how the bar's identity is concretely translated into the drink and food offerings: simple and easy-to-understand cocktails, and a food menu designed to accompany sociability.
