Hawaiki is a one-of-a-kind Tiki Bar & Polynesian Restaurant, born in Bellaria Igea Marina from the creative vision of bartender and owner Samantha Migani. The name “Hawaiki” refers to a Māori term widespread in Eastern Polynesia, meaning the origin of life, traditions, and ancestral cultures: the mythical place from which everything begins and to which everything returns.
For Samantha, Hawaiki embodies exactly this idea: a paradisiacal island where a sensory journey takes shape through aromas, flavors, and influences that blend ancient Polynesian traditions with modern, innovative mixology and culinary techniques.
Hawaiki is conceived as a world of its own—an exotic refuge where guests are transported far away without ever boarding a plane. Every detail, from the tropical décor and music to service rituals and dishes, is designed to immerse visitors in a warm, enveloping parallel dimension, rich in cultural influences and ancestral inspirations.
Every cocktail and every dish at Hawaiki is a single signature creation: original expressions designed as individual experiences, yet paired together in a carefully curated journey meant to awaken the senses and surprise. The culinary influences intertwine with mixology to create the Rum Rhapsody, a journey through powerful potions inspired by rum styles from around the world.
The result is a taste adventure that may begin in a shell, continue in a coconut, be served in a tiki mug or on an unconventional plate—always with a strong connection to nature and its most authentic roots.
Hawaiki’s mission is to stimulate the senses, intoxicate with unexpected aromas and flavors, and transport guests into a new, vibrant, primal, and emotional dimension. The venue was created as a small parallel world where guests can experience “a dream in a glass and on a plate,” through native, exotic, and ancestral preparations reinterpreted with a contemporary approach.

The bartender
Samantha Migani
Samantha Migani is a leading bartender and entrepreneur in the Italian beverage scene, nationally recognized for her specialization in tiki and tropical mixology, as well as for her strong background in contemporary and homemade cocktail techniques.
After starting her career at a young age and completing advanced training at Drink Factory in Bologna, she developed a distinctive style rooted in the study of raw ingredients, artisanal preparations, and the creation of cocktails with a strong identity—also shaped through exchanges with key figures in Italian tiki culture.
In 2018, she founded Hawaiki, a cocktail bar that has become a benchmark for contemporary tiki mixology, further establishing her role as a specialized professional through the development of coherent and recognizable drink lists.
Alongside her work behind the bar, Samantha is also active as an educator, consultant, and brand ambassador, taking part in industry fairs, masterclasses, competitions, and editorial projects. Her work has been featured in leading trade magazines such as Bargiornale and Mixer, and has been recognized through numerous awards and collaborations within the beverage industry.
